Bought an Allermates Nutso tree nuts bracelet for my daughter at Denny in Paramus yesterday. Awesome, brilliant idea. My daughter is 10 and I bought her a silver medic alert id bracelet when she was in kindergarten. Turns out she was allergic to the nickel in the sterling silver. Bought her a 14k gold bracelet next. A beautiful expensive piece of jewelry that was constantly breaking and in need of repair, re-engraving , etc.. Also, for sports, all jewelry has to be removed and there was the constant worry of losing a 14k bracelet. Your rubber/plastic bracelets are perfect.

My nephew thought they were so cool. He put the wristband on right away. One of the dog tags, he attached to his school backpack and has the other tag set up on the necklace to put on anytime he is going to an event. He loved the colors and the peanut cartoon. He remembers to wear it because they are so much fun. I am thrilled with his reaction.

Hi. I absolutely love your dogtags and wristbands for allergies. This is a great idea and I love how noticeable and fun they are. I purchased some dogtags and a necklace for my daughter who is allergic to gluten and dairy. I just wanted to let you know that you did what we all (mom's of kids with allergies) thought of but didn't execute. I love the idea of having my child wear something so cute that can remind her and others of her allergies. Bravo to you! My daughter has severe peanut and tree nut allergies and now that she is going to kindergarten, I can't be there to watch over her as much as I would like. Dear Awearables, I am a school nurse in PA. I first saw your website by chance. I have ordered two of your bands. This is a great idea, the preschool, elementary and middle school children love the cartoon figures. My school has numerous allergies and I have indorsed this product by word of mouth and by wearing one. I am allergic to PCN. I have also given one as a graduate gift. So the appeal is not to just the younger kids, a lot of people like them. That is the main point….if they like them, they will wear them and thus, hopefully, save their life.
